2 years we and Juan Carlos Iñesta started a relationship of trust, appreciation and mutual respect. Our mentoring efforts resulted in a revision and revival of his work under the brand Domanises. Part of this travel together brought in the last fair of Valencia the concept “a day in a vase” captured in the video below, and one of the reasons (besides his great technique and concern of reinventing himself) that DoManises received a few days ago the “National Award for technical or scientific contribution to ceramics” awarded annually by the Spanish Association of Cities of Ceramics (AECC). Certainly, we are in luck, Congratulations “Juan Carlos”

Salamanca on rails!

Between 12th. and 21th. of September the informal group Solgentia developed a bilateral meeting with young’s from Turkey on Salamanca around “innovation and efficiency” as alternatives to youth unemployment. On 14 Juan Gasca took part as an expert, doing a workshop to inspire and help to lay the foundation of the game.

Last week it took place in Valencia Internet Start Up Camp 2012, a “summer camp” formed by lectures, success stories of Spanish companies and various conferences and activities. Among those attending this year’s Internet Startup Camp Valencia were: Myspace founder Felix Ruiz, Julio Alonso CEO of Weblogs, Iñaki ArrolaCEO of coches.com, David Zaragoza from todoexpertos.com, María José Gómez CEO of Womenalia , among other many. Juan Gasca had the pleasure of collaborating with a speech “The person as the core of my business: building from the need, not from the possibility” as well as a workshop about design thinking as the genesis of business ideas.
